Know YOUR History
Modeled after Black and Women’s History Month, GLBT History Month highlights annually the achievements of 31 gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender Icons—one each day—with a free video, bio, bibliography, images and other resources. 10/1/08 - LAST DAY of Missouri LGBT Health survey online
CheckOut Project, the first nearly statewide LGBT Survey of its kind in Missouri, ends its online survey on Wednesday, October 1st!
Please forward to all your 18+ LGBT friends!
------
From Sue McDaniel and Dean Andersen of The CheckOut Project:
------
Our focus is on gaining insight into the attitudes, behaviors and beliefs of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community regarding tobacco use. This is the first nearly statewide LGBT survey of its kind in Missouri. If you are 18 or older, please consider taking our survey. Your opinions are an important part of our community. If you have already taken this survey at a Pride Festival in Columbia, St. Louis or Springfield, please DO NOT take it again. Your participation is completely voluntary. Confidentiality is important to us and none of the information you provide will be connected to your name.
After completing the survey you can register to win a MP3 player. If you have questions about the survey, or to learn more about the CHECKOUT PROJECT, please contact: Dean Andersen at 573-884-2077 or Sue McDaniel at 573-230-8582.
To learn more about human subject research, please contact the IRB at: 573- 882-3181.
Thank you for participating in this survey. It is our hope the information you provide will be of benefit to our community in the future.
Sincerely,
Dean and Sue
