ABOUT QFEST

The fourth annual edition of the Stella Artois QFest will be held April 14-17, 2011, at the Hi-Pointe Theatre. QFest uses the art of contemporary gay cinema to spotlight the diversity and inherent complexities of living an alternative lifestyle in today's society. The event will feature an eclectic slate of contemporary LGBTQ-themed feature films, documentaries, and shorts.


SCREENING LOCATION

All screenings will be held at the Hi-Pointe Theatre,
1005 McCausland at the corner of Skinker and Clayton Roads.


TICKETS

Individual tickets are $12 each or $10 for students and Cinema St. Louis members with valid and current photo id's. Advance ticket sales are now available through our friends at Brown Paper Tickets.

April 2011 - More Calendar Changes

Hello all,

Just a quick note about a recent additional change to the April 2011 events calendar:

Due to last-minute circumstances, The LGBT Center of St. Louis will be closed on Tuesday, April 12th and Thursday, April 14th. Any scheduled programs on those days are canceled.

We will still be open from 12noon to 9:00PM on Wednesday, April 13th.

We will reopen and be back on our regular schedule starting on Tuesday, April 19th at 12noon.

April 2011 - Calendar Changes

Hello all,

A few adjustments are being made to our scheduled programming for April 2011:


Goodbyes

The Simply Seasoned Social Group, the discussion and social group that focuses on the needs of the elder LGBT community members, is being canceled.

SAGE Metro St. Louis has a calendar of events for LGBT older adults in the Metropolitan St. Louis area. Check out their calendar at http://sagemetrostl.org/CommunityCalendar.aspx .


Welcome Backs

Trans Talk, a group that focuses on the needs and desires of the metropolitan St. Louis transgender community, is increasing its meeting frequency from once a month to every other Wednesday, starting April 13th at 7:00PM.


Hellos

Bill Duvendack will be teaching an Astrology class at The LGBT Center of St. Louis entitled Lunar Cycles, Seasonal Cycles on Thursday, April 21st at 6:30PM. Look for more information, coming soon.
